Laxman Jhula and surrounding :
As per the name this bridge comes with a back story scaled back to times of Ramayana. Stories tells that the ‘Laxman’ younger brother of Hindu lord Rama crossed the river Ganges on a jute rope where now this bridge is framed. This suspension bridge acts as a link between the Tapovan villages in Tehri Garhwal district on the west coast of the river and Jonk in Pauri Garhwal district on the eastern coast of the river. This is a 450 feet long pedestrian bridge positioned at 5 kilometres north east of the city of Rishikesh. Despite being at outskirts of the city it is one of the recognized landmark of Rishikesh.
Parmarth Niketan :
Ashram established by Pujya Swami Sahukdevanandji Maharaj in 1942 located at a prime location in the coast line of river Ganges. Parmarth Ashram contains accommodation for 1000 pilgrims and provides the comfort with a clean hygienic and cherished atmosphere. This ashram have beautiful gardens where they schedule their daily yoga classes. Parmarth Niketan is well known for specialization in Vinyasa Yoga, General Hatha Yoga and Daily Satsang, lecture program and Ganga Arti are as a part of their schedule. This ashram also acquires a 14 feet Shiva Statue on the bank of Ganges.

Triveni Ghat :
One of the acclaimed Ghats situated at the bank of river Ganga always jam packed with the devotee to take the holy bath in River Ganges. As the tales goes Hindu god Lord Krishna came here when he got injured by the arrow of Jara (hunter). Last rites and rituals are also performed in these Ghats. As the sun sets it course the famous evening Arti is performed with Vedic Hymns and Diya’s filled with oil and petals are released into the river offering us a pleasant view and fills us with positive and inner peace.
Neelkanth Mahadev :
Neelkanth Mahadev temple is located around 22Kms away from Rishikesh City in Mohan Chatti Road. Temple is devoted for worshiping Neelkanth Mahadeva or extensively known as Hindu god lord Shiva. Temple is enclosed by dense forest alongside Nar Narayan mountain range. This temple is one of the most prominent Hindu pilgrimage site.

Beatles ashram:
Regionally this ashram is known as Chaurasi Kutia used to hold the title of International Academy of Meditation. This ashram gained popularity in 1968 when the English rock band The Beatles came here for meditation studies. While their stay they wrote many songs for their album widely known as “White Album” since then it gained the popularity as Beatles ashram.
Ram Jhula :
In the midst of all other famous destinations in Rishikesh Ram Jhula has its own virtue. This 450 feet long iron bridge is fabricated in 1980 positioned a few mile posterior to Laxman Jhula. Ram Jhula interlinks cities of Tehri Garhwal district and Pauri Garhwal district.
